The Highlight Of Grand Rapids' Holiday Calendar

The weather outside may be frightful, but the music in the DeVos Performance Hall during Grand Rapids Symphony's annual Wolverine Worldwide Holiday Pops will no doubt be delightful! The world class orchestra invites their local community to the festively decorated venue for five performances of amusing arrangements, classic carols and festive favorites, replete with special guest performers and a joyful sing-along section!

Hosted and lead by principal pops conductor Bob Bernhardt, who can't help but spread festive cheer with his wit and wisecracks between each song, the program features performances of Yuletide stalwarts like 'Oh Come All Ye Faithful' and the 'Hallelujah Chorus' from Handel's Messiah, and updated, jazzier classics like 'The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year' and 'You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch'. Renowned bass-baritone Justine Hopkins also returns to lend his rich timbre to the celebrations once more.
