Keb Mo
Keb' Mo' is a three-time Grammy-winner who is referred to as the "living link" to the Delta Blues of the early 1930s which helped influence much of today's blues music. He keeps his sound contemporary with touches of soul and folksy storytelling. His acoustic-led, basic-to-basics style of blues has gained him many fans. As well as being an accomplished guitarist, Keb' Mo' also plays the banjo, harmonica, steel drums and keyboard.
Valerie June
Memphis singer-songwriter Valerie June has taken the music world by storm with her atmospheric mix of blues, soul and African rhythms. Finding recognition with her breakout fourth album, 2013's Pushin' Against the Stone, Valerie June carried on her success with 2017's The Order of Time. With her unmistakable raspy vocals and gorgeous instrumentation, Valerie June has curated a dedicated fan base across the globe.
Beats Antique
First formed to provide the music to legendary producer Miles Copland's Bellydance Superstars troupe, Beats Antique is composed of David Satori on the guitar, saz and viola, Sidecar Tommy Cappel on the keys and toy piano, and Zoe Jakes, belly dancer, and composer extraordinaire. Together the experimental trio creates a heady fusion of Balkan-style wedding music, electronica, Middle Eastern riffs, Gypsy Jazz and flamenco amongst other world music genres, all packaged within a highly entertaining live show.
Cecile McLorin Salvant
The 2019 winner of the Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album, Cecile McLorin Salvant is no stranger to accolades and awards - her inimitable vocal artistry and magnetic persona have not only been awarded two of these Grammys before, but she was also the recipient of the first prize in the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition 2010 as well as much critical acclaim across the board.
Buena Vista Social Orchestra
Jesus "Aguaje" Ramos, original trombonist of the legendary Cuban outfit Buena Vista Social Club, leads an ensemble including three fellow original Club members for a tour of North America this fall! Along with pianist Emilio Senon Morales Ruiz, percussionist "Betun" Luis Mariano Valiente Marin and bassist Fabian Garcia, the famed latin-jazz combination from Havana bring you the music that made the world famous BVSC the biggest selling Cuban band in history.
