Modest Mouse at 20 Monroe Live

Why see Modest Mouse?

Good News For People Who Love Bad News

Indie cult rockers Modest Mouse are back and ready to take on North America again as they celebrate 20 years of their seminal fourth record, 'Good News For People Who Love Bad News'. With singles including 'Float On' and 'The Good Times Are Killing Me' expect a night of nostalgia and indie joy as they pitch up to a stage near you.

Since 1993, Modest Mouse have been a by word for the ultimate in indie cool. With piercing and sometimes poignant lyric insights over crashing guitars, they made the mainstream with 1997's The Lonesome Crowded West but it was 2004's Good News for People who Love Bad News that propelled them to the heights of indie stardom, with its anthemic tunes winning rave reviews from the music press and listeners alike. This celebratory tour will be a balm to all indie fans like this writer, who can't quite belive 20 years have passed!

Audience felt involved, and the quiet parts of the concert felt special. ... Read more
