Why see Grand Rapids Symphony: Holiday Pops?
Deck the Halls, and have yourselves a merry time
Once again, the Grand Rapids Symphony will be truly ringing in Christmas in style! Don't miss this evening, complete with the Symphony Chorus, a joyful holiday singalong, a visit from a certain jolly bearded fellow in red, and of course, the ethereal Handel's Hallelujah Chorus for the grand finale
The Grand Rapids Symphony is recognized as one of the country's leading orchestras, and celebrates its 85th anniversary this season! This is a fitting tribute to the West Michigan community that has embraced it since the orchestra’s founding in 1930.
Throughout the year, they present the POPS! - a set of nine concert series designed to capture the imagination of young children and adults alike, featuring a wide range of music and performance styles, making the POPS! a fantastic way to get more people interested in classical music.
